About Us

Southern Arizona physicians have an important tool to assist with the diagnosis and management of cancer, heart disease, and various neurological diseases.

Southwest PET/CT Institute, with centers in Tucson, Yuma and Phoenix, provides state-of-the art PET/CT imaging in Southern Arizona to serve the diagnostic needs of physicians and their patients.

The Institute is affiliated with the University of Arizona Medical Center and University Physicians Healthcare. We are an integral part of the Arizona Telemedicine Program and have a collaboration with the University of Arizona Department of Radiation Oncology where we provide PET/CT fusion imagery to guide radiation therapy.

Prompt appointments, usually within one or two days, are available. Completed study results, including electronic image copies on CD ROM, are sent to referring physicians within one day. Reports are also available to referring physicians online.

Southwest PET/CT Institute performs all insurance pre-authorizations and patient scheduling for physicians and their office staff. We also provide educational PET seminars and in-person meetings by appointment, as well as teleconference seminars for members of the Arizona Telemedicine Program.
